For a school visit:
If I can drive to your school in 90 minutes or less from my home in Watkinsville, Georgia - my fee is $975 for a one-day visit. (This includes Gwinnett County and much of Atlanta, nearby Northeast Georgia, and nearby South Carolina)
In a one-day visit, I’ll do 3 programs, each up to one hour in length. If you’d like me to add a 4th program, my daily fee is $1200.
(Please Note: If heavy morning traffic will make it difficult for me to reach your school, I will need either a late starting time or lodging close to your school. It’s the school’s responsibility to provide nearby lodging.)
“Hometown” area (Clarke and Oconee Counties, Georgia): inquire about my special “family rate.”
Yes, I am willing to travel. I’ve done hundreds of programs at schools and libraries. I've driven all over Georgia, Alabama and the Carolinas. I've flown to Virginia, Florida, New York, Montana, Missouri, Kansas, Texas, as well as California, Colorado, Connecticut, and more! For an-out-of-state visit, I charge $1,500 per day, plus lodging & transportation.
Yes, I will be glad to have lunch with selected students while I’m on campus. I’ll also be glad to autograph books.
